Free Range Eggs
 Organic, pastured & fresh!
By day, the hens here at Red Hen Farm, protected by one big, sturdy Cuckoo Maran rooster, stroll around their yard, pecking & scratching the ground, as hens love to do. At dusk, they all strut back into the chicken coop, to safely roost through the night.
In season, we move their portable fencing every week or so, to provide constant access to clean, fresh pasture.
In addition to scratching about, the hens feast on a diet of organically raised grain, from Green Mountain Feeds of Vermont.

Red Hen Farm eggs are the freshest available, and arrive to you in a variety of colors.

Our Araucana hens lay eggs with shells ranging from turquoise to deep olive.
The Cuckoo Maran hens lay chocolate brown eggs, and our Buff Orpingtons & Black Australorps lay a lighter brown egg.
And for the good old fashioned white eggs, we can count on our white Leghorn girls!
 Eggs are available in the barn for $5 per dozen,
self-service. Enter through Baker Road door, refrigerator is
on left. Please leave payment in the money jar. Thanks!
